A. Mokoena injuredBlackburn Rovers and Bafana Bafana defender Aaron Mokoena left Ewood Park on crutches after being stretched off from Blackburn's 2-0 win over Manchester City on Sunday with a serious leg injury and could miss the Cosafa Castle Cup match against Swaziland on May 20 in Gaborone.
Mokoena was just eight minutes into his 20th Premiership start for Mark Hughes's Uefa Cup qualifiers when he was hurt trying to block an effort by City's former England under-21 international Joey Barton.

Bafana Bafana caretaker coach Pitso Mosimane on Monday described the injury suffered by Aaron Mokoena as "a cruel twist of fate" - and disclosed he had been poised to reinstate the no-nonsense Blackburn Rovers defender as captain of the national team.
But instead of returning at the helm for the Cosafa Cup game against Swaziland on May 20, Mokoena is hobbling around on crutches with his leg in plaster after incurring a serious injury during Blackburn's 2-0 Premiership win over Manchester City over the week-end.
