Phela they are already leading the race  If I were them I would concentrate on beefing up the squad and play a lot of friendlies in order to be in the top eight than trying to avoid relegation year in and year out. Perhaps if they did this they would be able to qualify through play for better competions.

WGS, I was also shocked to see them in the top 2 yesterday. on Friday, they were way down the list (with around 500 votes) but Sunday afternoon, the climbed all the way to second. and now you are saying they are topping the table (with 8000). does this mean, all other teams were not voting for the whole weekend or someone was playing around with the system?

drunkken master, I'm a blackleopards supporter and I can confess that, we DON'T cheat to get those votes. i'm sure TCC have got some of the best computer guys who can easily spot the cheating if any.
I can tell you the secrete for those votes. WE normally vote during meetings in groups. people who can afford to buy phone cards for other are encouraged to do so. thats why most of those votes came during the weekend. They voted during the branch meetings. people should only be worried about their own teams for the lack of votes.

But I agree with you when you say, we need to put more energy on strengthening the squad. i'm tired of seeing the team fighting for relagation all the time

I have voted for Swallows already. It is discouraging to see that even Arrows is ahead. Looks like some teams want to play in this Charity Cup at all cost. Let us continue voting for the Birds, even if we cannot make the final cut at least we shall have given to charity

It has now become obvious that if your team is not supported by either Vodacom or MTN it will never ever qualify for Telkom Charity Cup. It is useless to vote for this farce. I wonder why these cellular companies do not just donate money to the charities themselves and spare all of us the trouble.

Two Beautiful Birds, the three SMSs I posted for Swallows are enough. What I am saying is that these companies must just give money straight to the charities and ask that their teams be allowed to compete. No more voting for me as it is clear Swallows will not qualify

next week Khoza is coming back from Germany and he will sort everything to make sure we make it this time around...... 
I think the format should be changed though. we should have this charity in each province. if the teams are not enough, we can also use the mvela teams.
