I heard it from Chief Thidiela himself that, Mr Mutombo just came back from DRC and he came back with BIG ANIMALS for each department (Defender, Midfielder and Striker). He didn't give me the names but he said the names will be out soon. watch this space..............

I just hope they are as good as N'gambi. otherwise it is useless to fill our league with useless palookas from the other african countries. we would rather have our own boys from kasi.

Black Leopards have revealed that they are keen to clinch a new deal with skipper Duncan Lechesa and influential midfielder Wonani Mulaudzi, whose contracts expired last month.

"They are currently out of contracts, but their services are still needed at the team. We will sit down with them soon to discuss new deals," Leopards spokesman Tshifhiwa Thidiela told The Sowetan.

He added: "Duncan and Wonani are very important players at Leopards and we don't want to lose them. Our aim is to compete for silverware next season. We are doing everything possible to keep the players in good shape by playing a number of friendlies and tournaments.

Black Leopards and Congo assistant coach, Bibey Mutombo has rubbished media reports that he is about to jump ship and leave Black Leopards.

"I have a plan for Black Leopards, I do not know anything about leaving the team," he told Kick Off.

Bibey added that his sole focus is on this weekend’s game against Moroka Swallows.

“Swallows are coming to our home this weekend and that is my focus. I am happy with the team that I have for this season although we hope to finish couple of registration before the closing date,” he said.

“The focus when I arrived here was to instill my coaching philosophy to the players who were already in the team. If you look at our team now you will see that it is fairly new as I was forced to release the players who did not fit in my plans. The players now who are here understand my philosophy as the coach.

“I want a team that plays football on the ground not 'confusing' football. To me it means nothing playing 'confusing' football and win games. This season you going to see a much improved Black Leopards playing the South African style of football.”
