And dominant in all the purest innocence, but strife
Doth then intervene with Brother Worldly Value seeing
Things of tinsel greatness; alien to the Dove
Of pure perfection, past and present
Source of light which with assent
Doth call the Mirror of our soul to task
Turn tears to Lakes of Living Water, all to ask
How can men created out of love
Be so traitorous to this His very Being?
How can he, Dim Reflection in celestial Mirror seeing
Not respond to images of Truth and Way, by fleeing
Perishable packages of putrid parsimony; gaily wrapped placebos to confuse
Let others use
The ruler of this world abuse
