Gents, I think we can agree somewhat that Pirates are not going to win the league this season. Tehres too much damage and BS thats happned over the last 3-5 seasons . so much water OVER the bridge as such ..

the club is potentialy SInking slowly and we will not achieve our goals anytime soon .. the way we want to ..

1. PATIENCE

Lets be honest, 12th on the log, the best we can get if all goes right is 5th . Look at the teams we'l face .. Celtic who are a VERY pasionate bunch, just the name Pirates will bring out the BEST in their game, and they can bring it , I dont think thats an easy game @ all ..Supersport who have figured us out ..NOT EASY.. Wits are a good side .. they are VERY dangerous..Sundowns have SO Much firepower and theyr the Champions right now .. Cheifs .. well , no comment ...Then Silver Stars are VERY organised, unless we take our chances, we wont get nthing from them. Id say right now we'r playing like a Swallows.. but potentialy we should be muc better ..

th teams Ive mentioned are better balanced and play betetr together .. What Bucs needs to do is admit the season is lost ... what we can do is aim for a Top 5 position( its not like we're aiming to play in africa) Then we'l give players who have a passion to play ..now until the end ofthe season. In fact .. we should be buildig BALANCE in the squad right now.
1. Relasing unessary players
2. Buying Nessary players
3.Not buying out of panic...

eg: How many strikers do we have ..

infact the question has been asked, WHO orchestrates the transfers!? Who's REALLY incharge !? Its well known Khoza likes havinga a hand in buying of players... Our New Technical Director is rumoured to have eyes on the main job. But again , we muct ask, what qualifications does he have? This man was at Leopards just recently, what did he do there ? When we hired Micho...it was prtty worrying that he was a fixture in the Ethopian league...

Are we the African Union !?

I suggest we , look at ourselves and see where we have gone wrong. An objective analysis will diagnose Pirates is a team with a BIG past reputation , with a lot of good players in its squad .. and thats it really ..

we need rebuild and not put pressure on ourselves to win, but rather BUILD UP and aim at getting better all the time.

A 2 season project is needed

1st season - Build a foundation

Get a TOP Proven, ambitios talented coach
Get the BEST players coming in from the jnrs, it should be the norm and a progressive process
Sign up KEY players on long term contracts
Build from the BACK >>>forward

try keep the squad numbers at a reasonable amount

TRUST your coach..

Reward HARD WORK !!! and

COMUNICATE COMMUNICATE COMMUNICATE !!!

Season 2:Team will come together and increase teamwork and spirit.
Reinforce where nessary

otherwise look what Silver Stars did. 4 Seasons of patience and building ,and now theyr a REALLY SOLID team right now.

also sometimes its best to trust your own instincts and tell the fans t go STff themselves.

How would yu feel if you had a thousand people standing outside your office window telling you HOW to do your JOB !?

Orlando Pirates plays against a very good WITS team tommorow.In fact , so good , theyr # 2, and have a WHOLE 16 points on Pirates, who are 14th but have 4 games in hand.

Mind you, The Bucs have the talent, but mroe so this season, they have shown, they CANNOT mould themselves into a Consistent winning unit.

2007 presents a possible new start, but unlike the Formilist of BBB, I doubt that the team has shown anythng to suggest they can pull off a 14/15 match unbeaten run @ will.

Theres definatly chaos in the camp .. Bibey Mutombo directing training ? Theres defintly too many rumours doing the rounds that Micho's job is on the line and he's being undermined in his position as OP Coach.

Beive me , players TALK and Im looking forward to this weeks Soccer Laduma paper to ifnd out the intersting Mgosi

Wits plays as a team and theyv been building on a foundation thats won them Promotion to the PSL in one go and LOONg in advance , with reinforcemnts this season , has made it to the top 2.

Clearly something in their team is working thats BETTER than the other 14 teams below them @ present time of writing

Gents, its NOT about talent a lot of the time, its about playing SOCCER and winning.

Can Pirates take 3 points from these guys who'v scored 20 and concede 8(granted having played MORE GAMES) ..

No doubt , Pirates new 11 strong strike force will be under pressure from day 1 to score. Im not too sure about the Leopards recruits , but tico Tico is more the man I see as being able to perform a bit under these circumstances.

I understand their situation, its ment to be a club supporters forum .. and Im not a Pirates guy , maybe I came accross with a view thats not positive for Pirates but anyway ..

There was some sense in what you said there Nahtino but those guys probably didn't like thats why they banned you Laughing

. but there is one guy who got your point. As a Pirate myself, i think there are a lot of things we need to change within the team. its time we start using players from the youth development. its of no use to spend so much money on youth and yet only one player makes it to the senior team. we need more youngsters from the academy not filling the whole team with useless players
