Mamelodi Sundowns beat Scottish Premier League side Glasgow Rangers 2-0 in an international friendly played at Wanderers on Sunday afternoon this after Rangers beat Jomo Cosmos 2-0 on Friday night.
The Scottish side did not look sharp on the day and Sundowns deserved the win and could have scored more goals had they taken their chances in front of goal with Sandile Ndlovu in particular missing a number great opportunities.
The opening goal was scored thanks to a Surprise Moriri penalty in the 21st minute after Ndlovu was clearly fouled in the area by Julien Rodriguez.
Sundowns made it 2-0 just after the break when new signing William Correa scored with a shot from a cross.
In the 67th minute Sundowns were down to 10-men when Robyn Johannes was sent off for a second bookable offence.
Spoiler:
thats good for our game. hopefully chiefs will do the same to United

Aberdeen lose against Cosmos
Jomo Cosmos beat Scottish outfit Aberdeen 2-0 in an international friendly at the Wanderers Stadium on Sunday and were rarely troubled all evening by the Scottish side.
After losing 2-0 against Glasgow Rangers on Friday night, Cosmos gave themselves a perfect start against Aberdeen when Christopher Katongo 's well struck low shot in the sixth minute found the back of the net.
Cosmos could have put the match beyond doubt before the half-time interval but poor finishing saw numerous golden opportunities sail over the Aberdeen goal.
In the 73rd minute the contest was put beyond doubt when thony Laffor calmly slotted the ball in the back of Langfield's net after receiving a pass from Sam Sam Magalefa.

Well done to both Cosmos and Sundowns, though my worry was the poor attendance.
Where are all the Sundowns fans who are voting in the charity cup? cause yesterday i saw less than 500 fans at Wanderers.

Dons take revenge over Cosmos
Steve Lovell played his first game of Aberdeen's pre-season and scored the only goal as the Dons beat Jomo Cosmos 1-0 in an international friendly at Royal Bafokeng Stadium on Wednesday afternoon.
The Dons striker struck in the 52nd minute after latching on to a great through ball from Chris Clark.
Aberdeen had the better chances in a low-key game, and only the woodwork prevented Stevie Crawford from scoring with a good shot in the first half.
Dons boss Jimmy Calderwood fielded a far stronger side than that which lost to Cosmos 2-0 last Sunday.
