SuperSport not happy with Pitso call-upsPSL Castle Premiership side SuperSport United have expressed concern about the frequent calls-ups of their coach Pitso Mosimane to the Bafana Bafana squad.
The Pretoria-based side's Chief Executive Khulu Sibiya said that he wanted to have clarity on Mosimane's contract with the South African Football Association (SAFA).
We want things to be clarified in terms of his contract as we don't want him to always be a stop-gap measure.
"Why should they only take him on a part-time basis? This ad hoc arrangement is not healthy," Sibiya told City Press.
Sibiya confirmed that he had met with SAFA CEO Raymond Hack on Friday to discuss the matter.
It is understood that both United and SAFA undertook to continue discussions only after the arrival of Bafana's new coach Carlos Alberto Parreira in September.
"I understood United's concerns, but the final decision will be taken by the coach when he comes. We will have a meeting with both assistants and see what happens," Hack commented.
